☆What is up, you guys?☆

It's your local desi crash out, Empress AloeVera.

I'll now be offering mehndi? Often seen in my own photos, I've finally been roped into offering it. 🙌🏽✨ There is a lot of exciting new things coming for the desi side of this brand, mehndi being the first of a few. In my opinion, the epitome of desi femininity, I'll be offering traditional, and ofc, it girl designs. I'll be highlighting those available designs, along with other details in a separate post.🌸

     All merchandise will still be available on the website, but as of right now, we are pivoting to mehndi for in-person events, along with select merchandise. As an artist, I'm really in the whole ✨cultural-bad-girl✨ aesthetic, if that is even a category???

I only named a few of them because I'm a little lazy, but these are what you can expect!

Gold glitter will be available to be added to any design! We have some really cute ones coming up for Dil Se in March, I'm going full throttle desi baddie, so be on the look out for that!

✧ LNY Mehndi  Tracing Sheet

I realize that it is not common that we draw Chinese or more Eastern motifs with henna/mehndi, so I thought I would release a sheet with some hand drawn smoke by myself if anyone wants to practice. 

Instructions:
✦ Print it out, regular 8.5x11 paper is fine and what it is actually sized to
✦ Place under a sheet of glass (I just pulled one from a picture frame)
✦ Trace and practice! Have fun!

✧ Life Update

     This time of year is always a little hard for me, last year I had the opportunity to do something about it and impulsively bought tickets to Bullet For My Valentine, which all the attendees treated it (and it was) like Warped Tour💀 I got kicked in the head a thousand times and blacked out from lack of oxygen due to everyone's smoke.

     This year I have been spiraling, so when I saw Raf Sappera on an American tour, I literally bought VIP tickets right then and there, even though there wasn't a show in my city. I was considering going to the Brooklyn show, but wanted something easy and familiar, so I'll be at the Houston show. Anyway, impulsive because I'll obviously be road tripping to Houston, but then the following weekend I will be road tripping to Toronto. 💀 Wish me luck!
